A real car which proves itself a value oriented car sensible in all round of drive test. Maruti Company is a well known company always promises and proves itself and fullfill all the demands of the buyer. When the company have the idea of introducing SX4 then the first thing which clicks on the introducers mind is the comfort of buyer with the great blend of performance and great mileage. The equipment used in the interior, exterior and engine of the car should be of good level. This is the features of the Maruti SX4. Suspension used in the car has been improved and now maruti ensures you to give the cofortable and luxurious ride. The car is very stylish its ample look separates it from its rivals. The looks and the technologies used in the car will give you a astonishing and revelry ride.
The previous SX4 wasn’t exactly known for its ride quality. But Maruti has tweaked the suspension and, as a result, the SX4′s ride ia a lot more pliant than before. At low speeds, the car tackles most bumps well and the ride is the most consistent of the three. The SX4 feels more planted. The ample grip from the 205-section tyres and decent feedback from the steering let you push the car through corners. but body roll is pronounced and takes some getting used to. But its never scary and the SX4 has the best overall ride and handling package in its test drive. The SX4 is also pretty well equipped with USB and aux input-enabled music system, steering-mounted audio controls, twin airbags and ABS. At Rs 8.67 lakh, it is also the cheapest here. Its fuel efficiency with 13.2 kpl in the city and 17.1kpl on the highway is impressive too. Maruti offers a warranty of 24 months or 40000km.

The SX4 isnt so wide as its exterior suggests while its headroom is good, legroom might leave tall passengers a bit disappointed. The high-set seats are comfortable, its really easy to slip in and out of the car. The large windows and light colours help liven up the interior and give it a cheerful ambience. Storage around the central console is good and the door pockets are deep enough too. There are also dedicated bottle holders in the rear doors. Boot space, at 505litres, is the biggest in this group. The SX4 has only a 1.3 litre motor, which is nearly 300cc lesser than its rivals. But surprisingly, it doesn’t feel slow and, infact, feels more responsive. Despite having only 90horses, the SX4 feels fleet-footed. By giving the SX4 shorter gearing compared to its rivals, Suzuki has done well to mask its power deficit. In-gear acceleration is where the SX4 impresses the most, taking 10.32sec to do 20-8-kph. But the downside of the short gearing is that you have to constantly use the five-speed gearbox to keep the engine above 2000rpm for best results. The engine is not as free-revving as the other two either.

The Maruti SX4 comes with a 103bhp 1.6 liter petrol and a 90bhp 1.3litres dieseloption, each of which have two variants to choose from. The base variantsfor the petrol and diesel come equipped with a centre room lamp, twin map lights, electronic power steering, power windows all round, a rear defogger, central locking and keyless entry. An information display, integrated stereo with remote four speakers and two tweeters, along with warning signals like a headlight- on remainder, door-ajar warning and a seatbelt reminder are some nice features. Along with the above kit, the higher variants receive climate control, a driver’s seat height adjuster, audio controls on the steering wheel ABS and EBD (with brake assist).

from years BMW counted in one of the most favourite auto brand. A new star shines in the sky of BMW. the star is non other but the new launched exclusive car 650i. In India the car was first launched in Udaipur in Hotel Leela Kempinski on March 20th, 2011

BMW’s new Sun God, the 6-Series Convertible, is the perfect vehicle with which to worship the rays, sand, water and sky. And what better place than Cabo San Lucas to test it in.A two-toned interior with contrasting-stitched leather awaits those who enter. With controls canted toward the driver, we found everything exactly where we expected it to be, based on our experience with other BMWs.At the center of it all: a sport leather-wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters and Black Panel Technology for the main gauges. The aforementioned freestanding Transreflective display for good bright-light visibility is located at the top of the center stack for navigation and infotainment functionality from BMW’s iDrive system. The “sore thumb” is back! Actually, there is nothing wrong with how it functions, but the by-now-familiar BMW gear selector just reminds us of that particular digit. Holding sway in the center console, just north of the iDrive controller, it is operated by pressing the unlock button on its side, and then moving the lever into its desired position.Seats were very supportive and offered the greatest invention since sliced bread in the ventilated driver and passenger seats. Rear seating was easy enough to get into and allowed adequate headroom, but we wouldn’t like to be there for rides that could potentially become all-day affairs.

There is no better way to have fun in the sun. Compairing the 650i to a heavyweight boxing champ wont be wrong. With a 4.4 litres, 407 bhp engine that manages to cover 0-100kph in just 5.2 seconds, there is no other way to look at it. But acceleration is brutal from any rev, and the noise the engine makes is even more spectacular. To keep all that power going precisely where you want it, BMW has given its Adaptive Drive Tech. Each in normal mode, the low-speed ride has a firm edge. However, things even out as you go faster, but there is still a harsh edge to the ride, which never feels complaint enough to cope with out battered surfaces. The electro hydraulic sreering isnt the most involving we’ve seen fromBMW either. All in all, the 650i is an impressive package. Its a fast and classy car that’s perfect to announce your arrival thundering down a hotel lobby.

Ample looking with all types of comfort and all safety ingredients the car with all these features is none other but the Renault Fluence. Renault Fluence is available in two types of mechanisms i.e. Petrol and Diesel. The delivery of the Renault Fluence will be commenced from 22nd June, 2011 in India. The petrol engine availed with more features as compared to the diesel engine but the diesel engine is cheaper as compared to petrol one. We can see this car on the roads in three shades: white, black, biege and blue. Renault Fluence is not just a four wheeler on roads its much more then that its an Electric car in real.

No one can accuse Renault of living in the past this time. with the arrival of the flagship fluence saloon this month, the company hopes to banish any memories of the boxy Logan, with which it entered the Indian market four years ago. As you can see from the pictures here, the fluence is a good-looker and its also built to very high standards, and from what our test drive revealed, its a very capable machine on the road too. but more on that later.

the Fluence is quintessentially french, with chic and modern styling. It certainly stands out from the business-like styling of its European rivals and also looks refreshingly different from the generic Japenese styling, which we’ve seen for all these years. The shapely wheel arches, the flowing roofline and the striking headlamps all ensure that the Fluence is a looker. The 16-inch wheels and chunky 205 sections tyres help give the Fluence a bold and purposeful stance as well.

Inside Story

The petrol version comes in beige upholstery, while the diesel version gets darker looking black interiors. The first thing you’ll notice about the dashboard is the funky looking digital speedometer, which also houses the temperature and fuel gauge. It’s very easy to read and is flanked by the analogue rev meter on the left and the trip information on the right.
The dashboard has a nice, flowing design, and the quality of materials is good. But the quality of materials good. But it still cant match tha Skoda Laura and VW Jetta’s materials, which feel much more robustly put together. The controls on the dashboard are not the easiest to operate though. The AC controls are too small, and the stereo controls are placed too low on the centre console, which means you’ll have to take your eyes off the road while changing the FM stations. Other irritants include the bonnet release in the front passenger’s footwell, rather than on the driver’s side (Renault obviously forgot tochange it for a right-hand-drive car). The handbrake is also placed away from the driver, and some controls which should be intuitive are difficult to operate on the Fluence. The steering-mounted audio controls are behind the wheel and not on it. The Cruise Control setting is on the wheel, but to activate the system, you have to use a button that’s between the seats – odd to say the least. The excellent visibility helps you forget these irritants somewhat though.
Space is good wherever you sit, but the sloping roof at the rear impinges on headroom at the back. The sloping roof has also made Renault lower the rear seats by a bit. The front seats get a rotary adjuster for the back incline adjustment, so it’s easy to find a comfortable position but they aren’t as supportive as we would have liked, especially the under thigh support. The rear seats are comfortable, with ample space for the three abreast and loads of legroom as well. The addition f AC vents at the rear on the petrol version is a big help (the deisel doesnt get these). other niceties available on the petrol include sunblinds, automatic clomate control and leather seats which the diesel version misses out on. The 530-litres boot is large by any standard and aids practicality too.

The Engine

You can choose between a 1.5litres diesel with 105bhp and a 2 litres petrl engine will instantly impress you with its redifined nature and engine responsiveness from even low revs is brilliant. It loves to be revved and remains largely composed when you push it hard. You only get a Continous Variable Timing (CVT) automatic gearbox on the petrol engine and there’s no option of a manual gear box. But being a CVT, the Fluence doesnt show as much agility as its rivals. Dab the accelerated and the engine revs rise rapidly without any corresponding increase in the car’s speed. As a result, performance is below par. Zero-100kph comes up in 13 seconds, which is slow by most standards. Being an automatic also means that fuel efficiency won’t be great.
For those of you who want the benefit of low running costs, the diesel is the one to go for. Its the same engine that powers the Logan, but gets a sophisticated Variable Geometry Turbo (VGT), which bumps up power from 65bhp to 150bhp. The engine is a decent performer and noise levels at cruising speeds are acceptable. But that said, you are always aware that its a diesel engine powering the car. There’s a distinct turbo-whistle and diesel rasp around the 3000rpm mark. he engine performs well once past 2000rpm when the turbo kicks in. Below this mark, driving the diesel can get irritating with the engine slow to respond to throttle inputs. You get a six-speed gearbox to extract the best from this unit, but you will have to use the geabox judiciously to get the best out of the diesel motor. The heavy clutch doesn’t aid matters either.

But what impresses thoroughly is the brilliant balance that Renault engineers have found between ride comfort and handling prowess. The steering remains lightly weighed to aid low-speed maneuverability, but weights up consistently asspeeds build up,offering plenty offeedback from the road below. This gives you a good sense of control. the supple ride takes most bad roads in its stride transmitting nothing inside the cabin. The long wheelbase helps impart a feeling of stability at high speeds.

We can’t understand why Renault would offre the petrol version in only one fully loaded version with only a automatic gearbox. It’s a very refined engine alright, but what about someone who wants a manual gearbox? So clearly, the diesel is the one to opt for. It costs Rs.12.99lakh, which is around Rs.1.41lakh cheaper than the petrol, making it good value for money. It’s a car that has a classy cabin, appealing style and promise of low running costs.

If you r searching for a luxury touring wagon then your search stops here, the Mercedes Benz R-class is a total luxurious Grand Sports Tourer car.The idea of this car was first presented in the International Auto Show in North America in 2004. The comfort level of the car is very high while sitting inside the car no one including the wind sound will disturb ur drive. Mercedes R-class is great to handle, finest materials work with superb fitting with a comfortable knee and rear room is the best part of the interior.

This smooth cruiser is a seven-seat alternative to expensive prestige off-roaders. The R-Class is a smooth, quiet cruiser with hushed engine. Power comes from a 3.5litres V6 petrol engine with 272bhp of power. There is no diasel on offer so running costs will be high. Performance is adequate rather than super due to the car’s 2-2ton weight. The near 5.2 metres lenght can make city driving quite ajob but the long wheelbase gives it great poise on the highway.

The R-class is intended as a luxury cruiser, so the emphasis is very much on comfort. Getting inside the R-class is easy. Both front seats have full electric adjustment, so making yourself comfortable is easy. Quality is good but doesn’t feel special enough for a Mercedes. Legroom is good in the rear rows as well, but more underhigh support would be welcome. Its a great car if you want a luxurious seven-seater, if not the best.

The perfect luxury coach will be now guarded by a new guard. Now the Audi A8 will be guarded by a new fuel in its engine i.e. diesel. Audi A8 will be exhibited in Indian Auto Market for the first time on 10th Jan 2011. In India the car introducers promises to give full comfort, high performance and best luxurious car ever introduced. When the car was introduced for the first time on the roads then this car was tagged as the worlds first largest luxurios diesel car. Its interior fittings is more that that we expected on the nme of audi’s or can say its more as we expect The ample corners with the spacious deskboard gives the car an admirable look. Refined and capable ZF box with Handwriting recognition including entry at lower cost will be the most likable features of Audi A8. There are still some features in the car which are on average and not so much likeable such as Ergonomics and the styling which is not so descriptive with rear’s marginal room. But if u ignore these some minute points then the Audi A8 proves to be the best Diesel luxurious car.

AUDI recons that cororepati luxury car buyers are as concerned about their fuel bills as the rest of us. So, it comes a diesel engine in the company’s flagship luxury barge, the A8, which was available only with a petrol engine uptil last month. At Rs74 lakh (ex-showroom,Delhi), the 3.0 TDI costs a whopping Rs11 lakh less than the petrol car. Add to that the lower running costs of diesel, and its immediately evident why Audi has brought this version in.

The diesel is a 3-litres V6 unit with 250bhp of power and 56kgm of torque. The diesel engine scores well for refinement. At cruising speeds, its difficult to gauge which fuel is actually powering the car; its that smooth. However, the A8 lets in a bit of road noise over coarse surfaces.
Power is delivered in typical diesel fashion. You get a massive blast of torque once past 2000rpm all the way to 4000rpm, pushing you into the back of your seat. You get an eight-speed automatic gearbox with well-chosen ratios that ensures you are never left wanting for power.

Zero to 100kph comes up in a brisk6.3sec, and in-gear acceleration is just as generous. The dash from 20-80kph comes up in 4.40secs, making this a great car for those highway overtaking moves. The A8 gets Audi’s famed Drive Select system that provides a pretty supple ride when you select Comfort mode. However, sharp bumps can still send the odd shudder through the cabin (and those onboard). It also doesnt feel as well planted as other rivals, thus offering a floaty feel. Shift into dynamic mode and the controls feel tauter. In most settings, body control is good for such a big car. While the steering wieghts up with speed, it is devoid of feel.

Step inside and you will love the sophisticated cabin, equipped with the best materials. Everything shouts class and the centrally mounted analogue clock adds to the classy appeal. Attention to detail is phenomenal and everything works with slick precision.

There’s plenty of space for four six footers, and all the seats are comfortable and supportive. The boot is a decent size at 510 litres, although its a bit short. A huge range of electric seat and steering wheel adjustments makes it easy to get comfortable, while Audi’s MMI control system keeps clutter to a minimum by letting you access most functions via on screen menus. The A8 also has a touchpad that lets you write your destination into the sat-nav, so you can programme it without taking your eyes off the road. Overall, the diesel A8 limo is ideal for those who want an opulent and tech-laden cabin with frugal diesel costs.

The Honda Brio prototype developed in Japan and showcased in a MotorShow in November at Bangkok last year. Honda Brio belongs to small car category in India it was 1st showcased in 2010 Auto Exdo at Delhi. Honda Brio is a complete comfort package and those who wants all the facilities with less price and small car then Honda Brio is the best choice for you. Looks wise Honda Brio is a unique car and all glass look from the rear side of the car is the best feature which enhances its uniqueness. The sharply cut Kite-shaped taillights, the wide and angled bumper, prominent spoiler all make the Brio’s look pretty from the backside also. Brio’s dimension are compact with lenght 3610 mts, width 1680 mts and height 1475 mts.

The folks at Honda are creatures of habit – they have a knack of making brilliant cars, with super-smooth petrol engines that their rivals can only dream of. But they also have a tendancy of attaching high prise tags. The premium pricing strategy worked well for Honda in the luxury segment, thanks to its posh image. But the carmaker also realised the hard way(with the Jazz) that asking for too much cash dosen’t work in the cast competitive hatchback segment where Maruti and Hyundai keep redefining value time and again.Honda is all set to break the habit of charging a high premium with the arrival of the new Brio later this year by offering the entry level version for a very competitive Rs.4.50 lakh (estimated), which should bring the Brio bang in the middle of Maruti and Hyundai territory in terms of price.

Being a Honda, engineeering is the key. The Brio gets the same one. 2lts petrol engine that powers the much bigger and heavier Jazz. 90bhp of powerand owing to the fact that it is 70kg lighter than the jazz will mean the Brio should feel really lively. Just like in the Jazz, the engine feels a bit lazy at low revs and you will need to mount the revs to get the best out of the engine. But the silky smooth petrol engine loves to be revved without getting too vocal at any point. This coupled with the light clitch and slick gearbox mean that driving this small car promises to be a real delight. The Thai-spec Brio comes with a continous Variable Transmission(CVT) gearbox, but the CVT version wont make it to the indian marketto keep costs low.

Honda reckons that the Brio will serve its primary duty as a city commuter. Honda engineers have worked hard to give it an ultra light steering. Juat like the last-generation City’s steering, you steer this car with the flick of your wrist. But like the last generation city, the steering feels completely disconnected from the road, offering no feedback. This is something that keener drivers won’t appreciate at all. for driver enjoyment, you will probably haveto look elsewhere. Despite the light steering, the Brio grips well while negotiating corners.

Like most Honda cars, the slow speed ride is on the lumpy side and allows some road undulation to enter the cabin. But it gets comfortable enough over most surfaces as speed increase and does a good job of limiting body movement on demanding roads, offering decent stability at high speeds. The Brio also promises to impress in the braking department. Honda engineers have done well to keep the cabin a quiet place making the Brio a good car for long distance Cruises as well as city jaunts.

The lenght of the Brio’s wheelbase is shorter than the Jazz’s by 150mm. This immediately shows in the cabin. It is clear that while Honda engineers have given plenty of priority to the front seats of this car, the rear seat and boot space have been compromised a bit. To keep costs down, Honda has used seats with thin back rests and this along with the scooped glovebox ensures maximum use of cabin space for the occupants. The seats also get fixed head rests, another cost cutting feature. Other cost cutting measures include the single pane rear glass instead of a proper hatch opening. That said, the all-round visibility from the front seats is good, and the fuss-free dash layout mixes chunky rotary AC dials and clearle labelled stereo buttons. The steering wheel and pedals are perfectly positioned too. The chunky steering is nice to hold but again do not expect it to have controls for the stereo like some of its rivals. The stereo is positioned closer to the passenger than the driver and the positioning of the AC vents is also not conventional. The Thai-Spec Brio gets a USB-port for the stereo unit- just like tha current generation City.

The plastic quality is good and better than its price would suggest. The beige and black combo works well. The beige colour gives the cabin a nice and airy feel. Unlike the Jazz, which has ten glassholders, the Brio will get only two, in front of the gearbox. Honda is aiming at an entry price of RS 4.50 lakh (estimated) for the Brio. It promises to be the quintessential city hatchback offering a peppy engine, low running costs and ease of driving. That its a Honda adds to its overall appeal even further. This is one hatchback that we are eagerly anticipating.
