Maruti Suzuki Cervo New Small Car By Maruti Suzuki

Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch its small car "Cervo" in competition to the Tata Nano and the upcoming low-priced cars from Hyundai and Nissan.

The Maruti Suzuki Cervo will be powered by Suzuki 660cc , K6A DOHC engine with VVT and Bluetooth capability, that can generate 60 bhp of power, comparing to its current rival Tata Nano that has 623cc engine. The Cervo is coming with an automatic 4-speed gearbox and the car will be available in both 2WD and 4WD. The cervo will provide an unique experience for city ride by its features and fuel efficiency .This car will be on roads by the end of this year.

The expected launch date of Cervo : December 2010
The estimated price of Cervo : Rs. 1.5 to 2 Lakh

Suzuki R3 Small Concept Car of Maruti Suzuki

Maruti Suzuki has unveiled Suzuki-R3 concept car as the multi purpose vehicle (MPV) at New Delhi Auto Expo 2010 . Suzuki's R3 is one of the small concept cars showcased this year in auto expo, R3 is totally designed in India with in nine months for the competitive Indian car market in its segment, gives Maruti a boosts against Tata, Toyota, Nissan, GM and Honda.The R3 Concept was based on the needs of the consumers who required a multi purpose vehicle without compromising on the elegance and compactness of the exterior. R3 fulfills there requirements by providing substantial amount of cargo space, which can be enhanced by R3's fordable seats.Managing director and CEO Shinzo Nakanishi said that the Maruti R3 MPV concept will carve a new segment in the Indian market and described R3 as a family car, six-seater will satisfied the needs of large families.Maruti Suzuki Executive Officer, Marketing and Sales Mayank Pareek said “Over the years, Maruti Suzuki has ushered in millions of joyous moments in the form of delivering reliable products, offering prompt and careful after-sales services, and forging a long-term relationship with its valued customers. ‘Joys of Life’ as a theme celebrates this long history.”R3 have stylish rearward opening doors instead of sliding doors to provide more comfort to the passengers.At the front, high-intensity lighting concealed with aluminum accents on the side, a glass roof and a chrome grille. The Dual-exhaust pipes provides powerful look from behind wheels.As there was no declaration about engine, the car could have 1.2 and 1.4 liter petrol engines, and a Fiat-built 1.3-liter diesel engine with five speed manual transmission as shown in the prototype.Because Maruti R3 MPV concept car will be designed entirely in India, and will also be built in India. So the expected cost should be low .Maruti Suzuki has not declared any launch date of this MUV, production schedule , technical details and pricing. But it will be launched with in two years.

Premier Rio has launched by Premier auto as India's first compact SUV.The Premier auto company wants to renew its market by launching and Indian version of Zotye Nomada as a compact SUV Rio. The Premier Rio is originally a Chinese compact SUV the Zotye Nomada manufactured by leading Chinese auto manufacturer, Zotye Autos.The Premier Rio will be assembled at Premier Auto's Chinchwad facility in Pune.This SUV is manufactured with advance technologies across the world.Premier Automobile Limited is one of the oldest automobile company in India started in 1944 with Chrysler Corporation Vehicles and later manufactured car named Plymouth,Dodge and DeSoto but the most famous name was Premier Padmini.The Rio can be categorized as hatchback SUV as it is just bigger then any hatchback.The Rio's dimensions are 900 mm in length, 1555 mm wide and 1670 mm tall. Honda Will Launch New Superbikes In India

Volkswagen Jetta launched by premere car company Volkswagen in India .The Volkswagen Jetta comes with three variants and 2 engines in India ,Trendline and Comfortline.The design of the Jetta mostly sticks to the model being sold abroad. The first is a 1.6 litre petrol and the second a 1.9 litre diesel pump deuse engine. At the current price, Volkswagen Jetta will compete with the Honda Civic, the lower models of the Skoda and the Camry.The cheapest Jetta 1.6L starts at 12.97 lakhs (petrol, Delhi), the Jetta Trendline diesel is priced at 13.22 lakh while the high end version, the 1.9 diesel TDI Comfortline model with DSG automatic transmission.The Volkswagen Jetta can reach a top speed of 187 kmph. The Jetta will come in 2 versions Trendline and Comfortline.The Jetta has a sporty radiator grille, elegant chrome trim on the side windows (Comfortline) and colour-keyed bumpers, door handles and door mirror housings with integral twin signals.
