Upcoming Bajaj Adventure Bike: Spy Shots, Engine, Expected Price and Launch

Bajaj wants a piece of the cheap adventure bike pie, and its test bikes just won’t stop popping up on our roads. Fresh spy pics came out on 27 October 2026, and these are the best ones so far. Not the full story, sure, but way more than we had.

What the new spy shots show

Start with the cockpit. There’s a rectangular TFT screen that looks a lot like the one on the newest Pulsars, plus a raised handlebar, handguards and slightly different switchgear. The right switch cube even seems to have a headlight control slider. Up front you get an angular LED headlamp with a beak below it, and a small cowl instead of a tall touring windscreen. And it’s not just for show. You get a telescopic fork wearing rubber gaiters, wire-spoke wheels (19-inch front, 17-inch rear), dual-purpose tyres and discs at both ends. Add a tubular engine guard, a bash plate, a rear ABS sensor ring and an exhaust tucked up high, which should help when you’re wading through water. At the back sits a long single seat and a luggage carrier that’s ready for a top box.

Which engine will it get?

Bajaj hasn’t confirmed it. The smart bet is the 250cc motor from the new Pulsar N250SS, which Bajaj launched on 21 October 2026. That four-valve engine makes 25 PS and 22 Nm and comes with a six-speed gearbox, ride modes and a Sports Shifter. Using it would keep costs down and give the ADV enough punch. There’s a twist though. Bajaj Brazil’s executive director, Waldyr Ferreira, has said the company is working on several trail bikes for different riders, so a smaller engine option could come too. In other words, this may turn into a small family of bikes rather than one model.

Name, price and launch date

Nothing is official yet. Bajaj has trademarked the Trekker name, which makes it a likely candidate. Brazil is expected to get the bike before the end of 2026, and India could follow early next year. Estimates for the price range from about ₹1.50 lakh to ₹2 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on which site you ask.

Who will it take on?

The obvious rivals are the Hero XPulse 210 and the recently launched Honda XR300 Rally. If Bajaj lands it near ₹2 lakh with this kind of kit, a lot of first-time adventure riders will at least walk into a showroom to see it.
