The 200 K petrol engine generates maximum power of 158 PS @ 5500 rpm and a maximum torque of 221 Nm at 3500 rpm. The 280 petrol engine delivers maximum power of 231 PS at 6300 rpm and a torque of 282 Nm at 2500 rpm. The 280 CDI generates a maximum power of 196 PS at 4000 rpm and a maximum torque of 456 Nm at 1400 rpm. The E230 model has V6 petrol engine which generates a maximum power of 201 hp at 6100 rpm and a maximum torque of 245 Nm at 5500 rpm. E220 CDI model has a 2.15L engine which generates a peak power of 168 hp at 3700 rpm and a maximum torque of 410 Nm at 2000 rpm. The E63 variant has a V8 engine which generates a maximum power of 514 hp at 6800 rpm and a maximum torque of 630 Nm at 5200 rpm.
Mercedes Benz E-class has three petrol variants namely 200K Classic, 280 Elegance and E230 and its diesel models are E220 CDI and E230. The price tag of the cars ranges from Rs.37 Lakhs to Rs. 47 Lakhs.
